Gallatin River Data and Entomology Event

Join us at Yellow Dog Flyfishing Fly Shop and on banks of the Gallatin River! During this event, you’ll learn about recent findings of The Salmonfly Project’s monitoring project on the Gallatin River and improve hatch matching knowledge by learning from our professional entomologists.

• You’ll learn about how algal blooms are affecting aquatic insects on the Gallatin River.
• You’ll learn biology of aquatic insects found on the Gallatin River.
• You’ll learn how to collect and identify common aquatic insects, including the nymphs and adults of your favorite hatches.

All participants will receive a field guide of the major hatches of the Gallatin River, and free drinks will be provided by Map Brewing.
