During this hands-on event\, you’ll improve your hatch matching knowledge by learning from professional entomologists at The Salmonfly Project. \n\nYou’ll learn about the biology of aquatic insects found on Rock Creek.\nYou’ll learn how to collect and identify nymphs and adult aquatic insects.\nYou’ll learn how to identify common aquatic insects\, including the nymphs and adults of your favorite hatches.\n\nAll participants will receive a field guide of the major hatches of the western US and free drinks. All proceeds will go directly to support The Salmonfly Project and their mission to Save the Hatch. \nMeet at Rock Creek Fisherman’s Mercantile at 6:00pm. After a short meet and greet\, we’ll head to the River to start bugging.
