DESCRIPTION:Held in collaboration with Blackfoot Challenge and sponsored by Blackfoot Angler \nJoin us on the banks of the upper Blackfoot River! During this hands-on event\, you’ll improve your hatch matching knowledge by learning from professional entomologists from The Salmonfly Project. \n\nYou’ll learn about the biology of aquatic insects found on the Blackfoot River.\nYou’ll learn how to collect and identify aquatic insects\, including the nymphs and adults of your favorite hatches.\nYou’ll learn about the life histories and behaviors of different insects and how to mimic them to catch more fish.\n\nPlease bring weather-appropriate wading gear and clothing\, as this is an outdoor event! \nAll participants will receive a field guide of major hatches of the western US. Free refreshments will also be provided. Donations are encouraged; all donations will go directly to The Salmonfly Project to support their local education and conservation efforts.
