Gallatin River Angler Entomology Clinic

Held in collaboration with Gallatin River Task Force and Gallatin River Guides.

Join us on the banks of the Gallatin River! During this hands-on event, you’ll improve your hatch matching knowledge by learning from professional entomologists from The Salmonfly Project.

• You’ll learn about the biology of aquatic insects found on the Gallatin.
• You’ll learn how to collect and identify aquatic insects, including the nymphs and adults of your favorite hatches.
• You’ll learn about the life histories and behaviors of different insects and how to mimic them to catch more fish.

Please bring weather-appropriate wading gear and clothing, as this is an outdoor event!

All participants will receive a field guide of major hatches of the western US. Donations are encouraged; all donations are split between The Salmonfly Project and Gallatin River Task Force to support their local conservation efforts.
